This EmS Guide contains guidance on Emergency Response Procedures forShips Carrying Dangerous Goods including the Emergency Schedules (EmS) tobe followed in case of incidents involving dangerous substances, materialsor articles, or harmful substances (marine pollutants), regulated underthe International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (IMDG Code). This editiontakes into account the 30th, 31st and 32nd amendments to the IMDG Code(2004 Edition). The EmS Guide will be further amended as and whennecessary to reflect amendments made to the IMDG Code.
